With ASP world surfing champion and Red Bull athlete Mick Fanning in Hossegor to compete in the Quiksilver Pro, Red Bull UK wanted to make sure they used their time with him effectively for PR and editorial purposes.
Ben Mondy's knowledge of the pro surfing world and friendship with Mick yielded a unique, insightful and on-brand three minute clip for mass online distribution. When Mick went on to win the world title later that year, the clip was integral in promoting Mick's achievement and Red Bull's role in it.
