The Independent ran this light-hearted feature on American ski resorts that still pack a punch. We went from Silverton in Colorado to the wilds of Alyeska in Alaska - not a place to hitch-hike to if you're nursing a frozen tongue.As team managers go, Chris Moran is up there. And I mean really up there. He's a unique individual who has earned the recognition for his total commitment to the job in hand. He's the Ronaldinho of team managers.
